Peanut and I love to play cards. We play Uno, we play Crazy 8's we even use them to practice our math facts. The problem is that Peanut has a hard time holding the cards and keeping everything in way that he can see them and use them.
I kept racking my brain to try and figure out what I could make for him to hold his cards. I started with two round ziploc lids and glued them together. EPIC FAIL. The cards kept slipping and moving and then eventually the lids cracked.
I tried creating something out of cardboard discs. These were OK, but they took a beating and I didn't want to have to make things again and again.
I finally settled on two cd's. I took two defective cd's that we had in the house and glued them together, in the middle part of the disc. I used hot glue and spread it out as thin as I could and then added a little bit of super glue.
I did place the two discs slightly off center, this helped to keep the cards in place.
Now the cards stay perfectly placed and Peanut and play cards did not have any problems! The best part, it cost me nothing.

Its a different and unique card holder idea,i like it.
