We have a tradition in our household that we go on an Easter Egg hunt every year. Some of the local parks used to offer one for free and last year, it poured on the day that it was supposed to be held. I cannot remember why, but we ended up not being about to go on the make up day.
One of my really good friends knew how upset I was about not being about to go and so she "egged our house" with plastic eggs filled with trinkets for the kids. What I loved about it, was she knows how I feel about giving the kids too much candy, so she filled the eggs, with coupons for activities to do, erasers, bouncy balls, homemade dried fruit. You can see my original post about it here and here.
This year, instead of trying to find a place to go, I decided to make a hunt in our yard. I started with Easter Bunny Foot prints. I found a foot pattern that I like online and printed it off. Here is what my stencils started off as
Here is what they looked like after I was done cutting them. Originally thought, I would just print them off and put them on the ground. Then I decided that wanted to make them similar to the yard stars that I did for 4th of July.
Here is the stencil after I cut out the middle. I did print some and left with the middle components for inside the house.

I love the way it turned out and the kiddos had an amazing time hunting for the treats that the bunny had left for them.
